After 27 years in the newspaper business, Cooper decided to pursue his lifelong avocation in music.  He has studied saxophone with Warren Sneed, Dr. “Woody” Witt, and composition, arranging, and musicianship with Joe LoCascio. He splits his time between Vancouver, British Columbia and Houston, Texas where he lives with his wife, Carol, two dogs (Arthur and Wolfie) and two cats (Floyd and Fantasia).
